Evangeline Reid '28 Recruiting Profile

My name is Evangeline Reid, but I go by Evie. I am in my Freshman year at Colfax HighSchool. I play winger in my club team and outside back for ODP, and both positions are very demanding, not just physically but mentally. The time off the field that I put into soccer is what separates me from other talented players. Soccer has been a significant part of my life ever since I was little, and my love for the sport has only grown since I've gotten older. I would love to continue playing soccer all the way through college and after. From meeting new teammates, the adrenaline when I score a goal, and just the thrill of being able to step on the field, are part of why this sport holds such a special place in my heart.

I play in the ECNL league, for Placer United as a starting 9. This past year I have been playing with a UPSL Womens Team, Racing Sacramento as the starting 11. For the CalNorth Olympic Development Program I have been hand selected from the pool to represent them in Portland, Oregon in 2022 and 2023, as well as Phoenix in 2024 and 2025. I also attended the ODP Regional Camp in Denver, Co in 2021 and in Salt Lake City, UT both 2024 and 2025. I have also been selected for California’s Region 6 Player Development Program for the past 3 years. I am also a starter on my Varsity High School soccer team, Varsity flag football team, and JV basketball team.
