Samantha Liaty '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sam Liaty and I have been playing competitive soccer for the last 13 years and loving every minute of it.  As the youngest of 3 sisters, I've been competing my whole life and pride myself on giving 110 percent effort on everything I do, within and outside the sport.  Playing soccer at the collegiate level has been a long-term goal of mine since the beginning.  Being a combination of the Engineer and Musketeer athlete types, my focus has been understanding, reading, and mastering the game while also being loyal, team-oriented, and extremely coachable.  I understand the commitment and extra work required to be a high-level player, and since I am also very competitive, I strive to out-work, out-smart, and out-play every other player around me. Combining a strong soccer-IQ, outmatched work-ethic, and elite level athletic ability has resulted in many accomplishments including: being selected for the 2023 ODP National Select Team after a competitive weekend playing with the 2022-23 ODP West Regional Team at Inter-regionals in Orlando, Florida (3 games won, 225 mins played, 1 goal and 5+ assists), leading my Division 1 High School team in goals and assists as a 3rd year varsity player while being selected 1st Team All-Conference, and being named captain of my ECNL Club for 3 consecutive years. Previously, I have also had the honor of being included in the ECNL Girls '05 All-Regional League Team 2021-22.
