Haley Knight '20 Recruiting Profile

    Hi, my name is Haley Knight and I have been playing soccer ever since I was 6 years old (starting club/competitive at 8 years old). I'm 16 years old and am a junior at Fullerton Union High School. I've been a starter on the Women's Varsity Soccer team since freshman year. I usually play outside defender but have also played as a center back and outside midfielder. I currently play as an outside left back for my club team, CDA Slammers FC, and am a captain. 

    While I am extremely passionate about soccer, I also take my academics very seriously. I am a very good student maintaining a 4.6 GPA (4.0 non-weighted). My freshman and sophomore years I got the Scholar Athlete Award as well. My freshman year I was ranked 7th in my class of 563 students and I am currently 10th out of 508 students (earning me 2 Top 100 Rotary Awards for the whole school). Freshman year I received a Student of the Month award for AP Human Geography and took AP European History (along with other honors classes) my sophomore year and am currently taking 4 AP classes my junior year.

    I am currently very interested in Psychology and hope to major, specifically, in Clinical or Forensic Psychology. Law/Legal Services and Business are other majors that I also have a strong interest in. I hope to attend a college in which I can play soccer, has competitive academics, and will prepare me for a successful future. 

    I am very passionate about soccer and academics and want to continue to pursue my dreams with determination and hard work in a great college. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me and hopefully you're interested!
