Maria Solis '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Maria L. Solis.  I am currently in the 12th grade at Dos Pueblos High School in Goleta, California.  I have played soccer since I was 5.  I started out in our local AYSO and started playing with Santa Barbara Soccer Club when I was 8.  I have been a varsity team starter since my freshman year and naturally aspire to play in college. I believe that I have a lot to offer a college program.  I am the type of player that can play in the midfield to distribute and connect all the plays, play on the wings to run onto those plays and head towards goal, and lastly, play defensively to stop dangerous counter attacks. I give my all as an attacker wherever I am positioned and use good technique on and off the ball. I am committed to the game just as much as I am to my education. I would love to stay in California for college but I am open to playing any division
