My name is, Chloe Hancock, and I am a goalkeeper / defensive center, mid player. I will be graduating in 2020 from Hesperia High School. I am a four-year varsity soccer athlete and I have been playing club for seven years. My Sophomore, Junior, and Senior year I am captain for the high school varsity team. My previous team before I went to SoCal Rush, I was captain for four years. I am currently playing for SoCal Rush and I receive extra goalie training and technical training outside my normal practice 2 days a week. , I have guessed played for New Mexico Rush as their goalkeeper in tournaments, I’ve played Nationals in Colorado, and went to State Cup round 3 with my team where we placed 15th out of 76 teams. My high school coaches made me captain because I know how to listen and take direction, but I also know how to provide support and direction to help my teammates out. My strengths in goalkeeping are dives, 1v1s, punching air balls out of the box, and knowing how to read a play before it happens. I know how to work with my defense line and I can assist them on where to go during a play. In defensive mid, I am able to control the middle and provide through balls for the forwards. I know when to move up and go back to help the defense out. I am a very positive person and know when to take things seriously. I am looking forward to this new chapter in my life to build more strengths on and off the field.
