I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old. I had played many other sports such as volleyball and track but soccer is my passion. Soccer has been my passion ever since and still is. I love the game, the feeling of working hard with your teammates, passing the ball together, scoring goals, getting into hard tackles, and mostly winning games and getting the results needed. I have aspired to play at the college level.
I am a very technical player with high-level ball skills and most important, excellent field awareness. Every coach that I have played for praises my ability to control the tempo of the game, shape of my team, and ability to maintain composure under high-pressure. My biggest strength in the game on and off the pitch, is my soccer IQ. My soccer IQ is well beyond most of my peers, I am able to create attacking opportunities based on player mismatches and errors from the opposing team. Defensively, I can effectively communicate with my team to close off space so we can win balls and maintain possession. I see plays develop both offensively and defensively. Most importantly, I am highly coach-able and have the ability to execute game plans and lead my team to execute my coaching staffs strategies.
The goals, future career plans and aspirations for college and beyond that I have are several. But one of my most important I wish to accomplish is to pursue in the medical field. I have always had the passion for helping people and their ability to become better. As my lifetime expands I always strive and work beyond my full potential to become better a person and leader as an athlete and a student. As a student of John F. Kennedy High School, I take Advanced Placement (AP) classes and still maintaining a GPA of 3.8/4.0. I also participate in the school club, National Honors Society (NHS). And as an athlete, a hard worker is the most important characteristic to show as a leader and to better benefit yourself. I have put myself in many difficult obstacles to better improve myself and others with the willing to accomplish my goals in life.
