Alyssa (Mae-Mae) Abbott '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello,

 My name is Alyssa Abbott. I go by the name Mae-Mae while on the pitch. I have played Soccer for 13 years now and love it more and more each year. I had my Father as a Coach growing up then moved on to Blues FC as my Competitive Traveling Club Team. I have had some awesome Coach's over the years. I have had the opportunity to have Coach Martin Simms as my first  competitive Soccer Coach on  Blues FC , Next I had Coach Kim Gonzalez for 3 years., Coach John Love ,  Coach Josh Fitzgerald,  and Coach Pat Powers  while on Blues FC. 4 years ago I switched clubs over to San Juan soccer club and had JJ Wozniak as my coach, then Corey Clonce ever since then. They all have taught me an unbelievable amount of knowledge for on and off the pitch  over the period that I  have played for them and I am truly grateful for that.  

I am highly adaptable and love to learn new things. I would love to attend a Prestigious College. When I was younger I always looked at the College for the label, but that's not the case anymore.  I would like to attend a Prestigious College now, because of how they have a higher expectation of their students.

I am interested in Medical Studies and believe that my top ten choices will provide me with a wonderful College Soccer experience, and Medical Degree. Because they make you work harder than you have ever worked before. I work hard each and every day for Soccer and my Academics with hopes that I would  have a chance at achieving a Soccer, and/or Academic Scholarship to the Colleges of my dreams. My other interest at this moment is an ROTC program to set me up nicely to enter the military (specifically the marines) as an officer. 

I have been told that I stand out on and off the pitch  because of my attitude;  I am always rallying to get my  team to work together. To have fun on the Pitch and not so stressed, thats when we all play our best when were having fun. I believe you should choose me as your candidate because I am many things that you are looking for; I am determined, I don't quit, I am life and academic smart, I am a leader, I can play the clarinet and guitar like a boss, I am in love with Soccer, and my second sport being track. I am currently the fastest girl in my region for the 100 meter and I plan to take it even further.
