Vivianna Rodriguez '21 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to pursue my education while expanding my soccer career on a collegiate level. This is my fourth year on varsity with my high school team as well as my third year with a starting position. I always strive to find ways to improve my skills on and off the field. When I am not playing with my high school team, I am working with my club team. I enjoy playing with different players because there is so much I can learn from each individual's style. Reading the field and knowing where my teammates are during the game is one of my strengths. My soccer IQ allows me to adapt to positions to assist my team with gaining a victory.

I have played soccer since I was five years old and every year my passion for the sport continues to grow. I grew up watching my two older siblings compete which influenced me to join the sport. I have been fortunate enough to have the support of my family in all that I do. My goal is to reach a 4.0 GPA while competing in the sport I love in high school and college. Having soccer in my life has taught me to have a strong work ethic at a young age. I have learned that life is full of challenges, but as long as I stay focused on my goals I can make the adjustments needed to overcome those challenges on and off the field.
