My name is Cynder Quinonez and I am 18 years old. I have been playing soccer since I was 3 years old. I played with boys until I turned 10 and then transferred to an all-girls soccer team. I was playing at a gold level by the age of 13. I was playing the last defender in a Vegas tournament and scored 4 goals, one each game. I played surf cup city (VC Galaxy FC) as a goalie (never played before) and managed to keep the score at 0 and passed the ball from the goalie to a forward to score. I played varsity my freshman year and tore my ACL and PCL during mid-season. I was told the only way to continue playing was to get surgery. I had 1 year of rehabilitation after surgery and started playing 2 months ago. I am not the best player but I am dedicated and determined to continue playing at a high level. I have good grades and plan on studying how to help kids with special needs who need extra attention and patience. I am very sweet but also a leader. I like to guide my team and talk to them throughout the game. I recently finished my 2022 high school season with an honorable mention as a junior.
