When I was five years old, I went to see my friend play her soccer game. As she was playing, I knew that is what I wanted to do. I started playing soccer when I was six years old and have not stopped since. Over the years it has led me to the person that I am today and has given me the drive to play college soccer.
Throughout my career, I have learned the value of sisterhood, work ethic, teamwork, commitment, and leadership. I recently read a quote that the coach does not determine your playing time, you do, by how much effort you put into it, your attitude, and by the choices that you make. I am not done playing soccer yet. I only have a few more years of high school left, and that is not enough time for me. I want to continue to grow, develop and push myself for the future.
I want to graduate college with a Veterinary Science Degree and become a veterinarian. This has always been my passion since I was little because I love animals so much. I know it will take a lot of hard work, but it will be worth it. School and sports are my balance. There is nothing better than going for a run with friends or getting on that soccer field after school and just letting it all go. Everything that I am doing now for school and on the field are preparing me for college.
