Sophia Ting '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sophia and I started playing soccer when I was 5-6 years old. My older sister played so I followed in her footsteps and turns out, soccer came naturally to me. One of my coaches told me that I have a natural instinct and intuition for the game. Ever since, soccer has been my biggest influence in life. Not only have I learned life lessons through soccer, I have also found my joy in life. Furthermore, my goal for collegiate soccer is to be a part of a highly competitive team as well as to be a part of a life-long community. In addition, my biggest strength in soccer is my ability to break lines from the outside back position. Whether it's with a pass or a dribble I'm able to create opportunities from the outside back position. With that said, I am simply in search for a college that fits me well, academically and athletically.
