My name is Ariana "Ari" Torres, And I have always dreamed of playing soccer professionally. I have played soccer for twelve years while building up the necessary skill and experience to play at the GA(Girls Academy) level. I've been on various teams and have grown to learn my love for soccer. I am currently on the Varsity soccer team as a freshman and now a sophomore in high school. I have had an assortment of field positions. I have played right-wing, center forward, attacking center mid, and a power 10 and are all positions I have tried and equally liked. All have been attacking positions because I pride myself on my speed. Soccer has taught me to be hard-working and confident. I strive to be hard-working in both sports and school. I want to apply to a 4-year college where I can balance school and soccer. I have kept above-average grades in school. Being a student-athlete is something I take seriously, especially the student part. I feel as if college will help me grow my passion for soccer as well as continue take my studies seriously.
