Alyssa Gill '26 Recruiting Profile

Dear coaches, my name is Alyssa Gill and in the graduating class of 2026 at The Buckley School in Sherman Oaks, CA. I've been playing soccer since the age of five in the West Valley Soccer League and goalkeeper since eight. Year 2022 was my first year playing club soccer for Surf Hollywood G07 and currently on LAFC-Gold G08. Have been playing for my school's varsity soccer team since my freshman year, JV volleyball, and varsity volleyball starting 2024. Helped the Girls soccer team at The Buckley School win the Independence League 24-25 for only the second time in school history. Would love to play goalkeeper as long as my future permits and continue training to improve my skills on and off the field.

I'm coachable on the field and in class. I learn from my mistakes and a great teammate. I also play the piano, did choir & voice for 4 years, I'm an ambassador for The Buckley School in Sherman Oaks, currently do community service reading to k-2 kids at Buckley "Bookworms", help teach art class to k-2 after school program. During summer of 2024 I started my first summer job working with young children at The Buckley School where I also attend and continued my training in volleyball and club soccer. Though I also play volleyball, my passion is in soccer. 

I'm fluent in Spanish and some Cambodian (Khmer) as I come from a diverse family. I take Spanish classes to improve my Spanish grammar and in Spanish Honors.

This is a little about me and would be updating my profile through my H.S. years as I improve as a Student Athlete.
