Keirra Scollard '22 Recruiting Profile

When I was 4 years old I fell in love with the game of soccer! When I turned 8, I joined the same club team I am still on to this day! We went from a struggling flight 2 team to a top ranked NPL team playing in the SCDSL discovery league. I had many opportunities to jump ship but when I commit to something I like to see it through to the end! My mom says I get that no quit mentality from my dad. This makes sense as My dad has inspired me to play soccer throughout my entire life with stories of his soccer playing days throughout his life including the military.  Playing Soccer has shown me the importance of being committed, driven, and focused when chasing down a dream. Soccer has in turn taught me leadership skills, perseverance, overcoming obstacles and so much more.  Playing in college is not just a life goal but a lifelong dream. Thanks to my fathers selfless military service I will receive money towards my tuition in the form of California Tuition Assistance. I am hopeful to find a soccer home that will give me an opportunity to achieve my dreams.
