Jordyn Jackson '27 Recruiting Profile

I am Jordyn Belle Jackson and have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old. At the age of 5, with the help of my sister, founded a non-profit organization, Soaring Samaritans Youth Movement. My purpose is to bring a sense of value, worth, and life skills to youth living in difficult circumstances. I do this through teaching financial literacy skills through my experience of owning a jewelry business. I teach kids how to make their own business with house house-hold items or self talents, and donate the profits to a good cause.  

In addition, I hand deliver indestructible soccer balls, essential items, and various aid to kids in foster care, inner city schools, and underserved communities to accomplish this mission. The reason I chose soccer balls out of the other necessary items is because I wanted to share my passion of soccer. The soccer balls I take are special because they last for over 20 years without a pump. In total we have fundraised to deliver over thousands of soccer balls all over the world.

After completing extensive hours of humanitarian service around the world through our mission trips, my passion is truly playing soccer, and helping children living in foster homes. 

My sister and I also work to serve the educational needs of school programs as well. We partner with organizations dedicated to the same cause of giving children the dream to play a sport, grow their community, and empower themselves to soar their spirits through academic and sports activities.

At the end of our days, you can find me doing homework, on a field playing soccer, volunteering, or hanging out with friends. My goal is to play college soccer and potentially even get to play for Vlatko Andonovski on the US Women's National Team.
