Olivia Hlasny '28 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old. My love, passion, and dedication for the sport hasn't changed since I was 4. I am a hard worker, I am a team player. I always put my team first before myself, even if I have to sacrifice my own personal goals in the game. I can play all positions, but my starting positions are center midfield, attacking midfield, and wing(right and left). My foot skills are phenomenal and so is my speed(that's what make's me stand out from the other players) I am extremely coachable, driven, and dedicated. I have had a great relationship with all of my coaches throughout the years. I also have a great attitude on and off the field.

I am a Freshman in High school. I will be honest, at this time I am not 100% sure what my collegiate goals and aspirations are. I still feel like I have a lot of growing, learning, and maturing to do. I am learning how to be a student athlete. Academics is very important to me. I want to be a Dermatologist.

I do know that soccer is who I am. It is my identity, everyone knows me as "Olivia the soccer player". I never played another sport. My dream has always been to play for a Division 1 College Soccer team. I know that dream will come true!! 

My personal statement will probably change through out the years. This is just the beginning of an exciting adventure I am on.Thank you for taking the time to read about me! I look forward to meeting you!
