Caitlyn Benton '18 Recruiting Profile

Soccer is my life. I train independently prior to and after practice. However, I am the total student/athlete. My academic studies and community service hours are just as important.I love helping with Special Olympics and TOPS Soccer. In fact, I receive more happiness when I help others than when I receive help. I am a spiritual person; my favorite scripture verse is: Philippians 4:13.
Soccer is fun to me, it is where I feel at home. When I am having a rough day, I go to the fields to train. That is my stress reliever. I am a born positive leader and team player that always tries to help others. My coaches have always told me I have an energy that changes the dynamics of the game and that I am a game changer. 
Currently, I am undecided what I want to study in college. However, I am leaning toward Sports Marketing or Sports Management.
