Sophia Cherniak '22 Recruiting Profile

       I run Track.  I play Piano.  I've run in the FL HS State Cross Country Championships twice.  My grade point is a 4.439.  I scored a goal against the AS Roma Academy team in Rome when I was a u15.  I've been in the regional ODP pool twice.  As a four year starting center midfielder, I helped the Lemon Bay Varsity Soccer Team win two district and two regional Championships.  We also played in the FL 4A Soccer State Semifinals two years in a row.  The second year I scored Lemon Bay's only goal in the state semifinals.  Last summer, I joined the Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions in the WPSL and was selected to the 2021 All Sunshine Conference Team.  I plan to play WPSL again this summer for the Cape Coral Cyclones.  My coach comments are that I am highly motivated, easy to work with, and  a valuable teammate.
