My name is Emerson Colt, and I am currently a freshman at Park Vista High School in Florida. I am the starting left winger and of my club team, South Florida Football Academy, where I have proudly served as team captain for the past four years. This year, we joined the ECNL-R league, where I’ve recorded 35 points (19 goals and 16 assists) during the regular season, not including tournaments or Florida Cup matches. Our team recently won the Florida Cup and will be competing at the US Club Soccer National Cup in Denver this July.
At Park Vista, I was the leading goal scorer on the varsity soccer team as a freshman and earned Second Team All-County honors. I was also featured in the Palm Beach Post for my performance this season.
Being a student-athlete is incredibly important to me. I’m enrolled in a full load of AICE, Honors, and AP classes, and currently hold a 4.2 weighted GPA. In addition to soccer, I run varsity cross country and track. I competed at Regionals in the high jump, 4x800, and 4x400, where our relay team broke the school record. I’m constantly working to improve, whether it’s on the field, the track, or in the classroom.
My goal is to play soccer at the highest collegiate level possible while attending a university with strong academics. As a freshman, I’m still exploring possible majors, but I have a strong interest in sports psychology. I believe my greatest contributions to any team are my determination, grit, speed, and leadership, both on and off the field.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. I look forward to continuing to grow as a student-athlete and connecting with programs where I can make an impact.
