Kyarah Hemmons '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches! My name is Kyarah Hemmons and I am an incoming Senior at George M. Steinbrenner High School. I gained interest in soccer after playing once in gym class at 9 years old and instantly fell in love. Throughout middle/high school I also participated in flag football and track, but soccer was my main passion.

I joined my first competitive team at age 13, became more knowledgeable and immediately contribute to the success of the team as a starter in various rolls on and off the field. I've played a striker, attacking/defensive midfielder, but I am strongest at center back or left back. There’s been several occasions where coaches will change my position in the middle of a game, and I adapted very quickly.

I am a player that can see the field very well and know when to switch the point of attack. I play the ball with speed, accuracy, and with purpose. I like to join in on the attack, but also know when to stay home and defend.

I would love to combined my love for sports and medicine by becoming an Athletic Trainer. My goal is to find a school that will guide me to be successful both athletically and professionally.
