My name is Megan Kirby and I returned from Japan in 2019 after three years of competitive soccer. I had the opportunity to play with the Ryukyu Deigos (Okinawa, Japan) International Club Team as well as start on my high school varsity team as a freshman and sophomore.
I have played soccer continuously since I was 3 years old and I come from a military family. I was born in Suffolk, England, and have also lived in Florida, Alabama, New Mexico, Virginia, and Japan. My dad is a lifelong military officer and my mom is a teacher. I respect their work ethic and service to others and I know their example has made me the competitive soccer player, teammate, and student that I am today. I continue to be successful in school where I take college-credit, advanced placement, and honors courses in English, history, and advanced mathematics courses.
I am now living in Navarre Florida where I play for the Gulf Coast Texans and the Navarre High School varsity team where I start as an attacking midfielder. I am looking for an East Coast or southern school with a competitive, focused soccer team where I can quickly get on board, contribute, and and hone my skills.
