I touched my first soccer ball at the age of 3. I did not know then, but would later learn, soccer would shape and become a huge part of the person I am today. Growing up in a competitive environment it pushed me to be a better competitor, trying to prove myself at every opportunity I was given. I have learned my goal as a student athlete is to be both mentally and physically strong. If you can train your mind, you are in control of everything that you are a part of. Being strong mentally in both a classroom and soccer environment, while being a hard working athlete. I am driven to be the best version of myself I can be, always trying to raise that bar. My qualities as a leader both on and off the soccer field has given me the opportunity to captain my club team. As a player who is searching to constantly improve, I am always eager and looking for ways to learn from the people around me. I will always hold myself to high standards, never letting myself fall under, and strive to fulfill my full potential as a person, student, and athlete.
