My name is Rheanna Moore and I am a Senior at Leon High School in Tallahassee, Florida. I am looking for a college that is academically strong and offers degree opportunities in the field of healthcare sciences while also providing an opportunity to be part of a successful soccer team. I am open and willing to talk to all division schools giving priority to colleges that provide a strong education program.
I have a strong passion for playing soccer and want to continue to play at the collegiate level. I am interested in playing on a team that plays possession soccer. Too often, I see teams putting in a great deal of effort with little reward. Playing possession soccer requires the team to play as a team and not individuals. Overall, I am looking for a school where we are like a family, constantly learning, working towards my future career, but also having fun. I currently play on two club soccer teams, 2004 Girls Florida Elite in Tallahassee, Florida and 2004/2005 Girls ECNL RL Florida Elite in Jacksonville, Florida. My primary positions are center back and center-mid-fielder, but I excel at many positions as I have played all positions whenever I am needed. I have often played up a level in my soccer career, showcasing my ability to play and excel at higher level play. While playing soccer, I have been able to maintain a 3.7 GPA while take many honors and AP classes. When I’m not playing soccer, I also play the cello and viola in the high school orchestra and am a member of the National Honor Society.
