Jodi Wright '11 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Jodi Wright. I am 5'10, I weigh 118 pounds. I would consider myself pretty fast. I have ran track for three years the 400, 800, and I used to run the 1600. I am the fastest girl on my soccer team. I have played soccer for about 13ish years. My travel team, S.W.A.T just recently split up mainly because our coach (Charlie O'Neal) was going through a divorce and he had no desire to be there anymore. I was on that team for about 5 years. Before that I played for Tristan Williams (Alleycats was our team name). I have been to a lot of tournaments throughout the years. I am a very hard worker. I never miss practice even when I am sick and miss school you can guarantee that unless I am dying that I will be at every practice. I have told my parents ever since I was little that all I want to do is play soccer in college. And I knew that it would be hard unless I was on a state cup team or something to really get noticed. But I come from a family of Five children and my parents didn't have the time or money to put me on a really good team. I am probably looking for a division II or III school, and size doesn't really matter as long as I am playing soccer. I would rather stay in Florida but would not rule anything out until I viewed all of my options first. I know I would like to go into Business but not exactly sure on exactly what in business. I would understand if I didn't play as a freshmen. I believe in earning your spot on a team. But that is why I am willing to work my absolute hardest in everything I do. And I will end with this, Soccer has been my life for the past 13 years. And I would Love to get the opportunity to pursue my all time dream in being a college soccer player. This is all I have ever known and it would be awesome to say I lived my dream!
