I recently participated in a Missionary Trip to Haiti in January of 2018. I feel the calling to help others and plan to make many more trips there and other places where there is a need and I can be of service.
My parents were Federal employees, so like many we transferred numerous times during my school years. Because of this I have attended 8 different schools in 12 years. Sometimes it was rough leaving my friends and my teams, but overall it has made me the player I am. I have had the opportunity to play on some of the best soccer teams, and to play with and against some of the best players in the country.
I played on the Madison MOJO team in Madison MS as a forward. We were the #1 team in the state and won 23 tournaments in a row. We also went to the Presidents Cup each year I was on the team and made history by being the first Mississippi team to win two games in the Presidents Cup. Even though we never won the Presidents Cup tournament, we felt really proud of how far we made it.
My parents retired in 2014 and we moved to Central Florida. I attended Lake Minneola High School during my freshman year and was the leading scorer on the team, led them thru the districts (by scoring 2 hat tricks) to the Regional Tournament for the first time in the schools' history. I was voted as the team offensive MVP and made first team all-county. My parents bought a house in the same city, but in a different school district so I transferred to South Lake High School. I was the schools leading scorer, and led this team thru the districts to the Regional Tournament for the first time in the schools’ history. I also scored a hat trick against Lake Minneola High (my old team,) which was a hoot. The South Lake coach is a retired professional soccer player, and he took me on as a protégé. I learned a lot from him, and was voted the schools athlete of the year. In 2016 I transferred to Foundation Academy, which is my current school. I was awarded the schools Offensive MVP, the Player of the Year, and Offensive Player of the Year for the entire Region. I am the only player at the school to ever win this award.
I have been team captain numerous times and a leader of the school’s soccer and track teams. I have a strong work ethic and am dedicated to my academics as well as my athletic endeavors. I feel I have the talent to compete and lead for a college team.
