ECNL Soccer Team Atlanta Fire United (AFU) Finished The Season In Top 20 Nationwide Champions League

My name is Elizabeth “Ivey” Crain and I am part of the class of 2022 at Pinecrest Academy (Private Catholic School) in Cumming, GA.  I am a player on the Atlanta Fire United’s (AFU) ECNL U17 club team, where I play center forward and wing.  My AFU ECNL team just finished the soccer year rated #20 in the U.S.  Champions League.  I have played at a high level of soccer and at the same positions, since I began playing club level soccer at the age of five.

I previously played for the Developmental Academy U14 soccer team at United Futbol Academy.  I switched to a highly rated ECNL team at AFU last year so that I can also play for my Pinecrest high school team, that made it to the final four in the Georgia State Playoffs last year.  

This year (2019) we were runner up in the Georgia High School Girls Soccer Championship Game on May 16th in Atlanta.  I led the team with 31 goals scored for the season and was voted soccer team MVP,  All Region 1st team and All County 1st team. Coach Dom Martelli is my High School Coach and he formerly was a D1 Head Coach for Georgia State for twelve seasons and prior to that he was Assistant Coach for The United States Military Academy at West Point .  

I work hard to balance both my academics with a 4.0 GPA at Pinecrest Academy and soccer athletics.   It is my goal to play soccer in college as a student - athlete.
