Sophia Flores '28 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was 7 years old. I have always aspired to play at the next level.  I understand that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I know it can change my life!  

I have strong attacking skills, I am an above average passer and I have a high soccer IQ.  I am a team leader and strive to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates.  I am extremely coachable and always try to lead practices as well as encouraging my teammates to greater success.  I promise I will be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you will find.

I work hard year round on my sport, participating in competitive travel ball at the national level, as well as high school soccer and I train year round in the weight room as well as with a personnel soccer coach all of which contribute to my athleticism and overall strong game.

In the classroom I push myself just as hard and maintain a high GPA.  I am a member of the National Beta Club and I have had high honors every year I have been eligible.  I volunteer at local youth soccer camps, I am a member of our schools Buddy Club which helps children with disabilities and I also volunteer at the Bee Hive Preschool during their summer camps.

I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the pitch.  I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college at the highest level of competition possible.  I hope to become a great role model to my peers, my community and to make my parents proud.
