I was inspired at a young age to play soccer from the stories my dad told me of his experiences playing on a local rec team in England. I started with Upward and progressed all the way to playing club and school while continuously attempting to better myself. I had a teacher who once said "Anything worth doing is worth doing well," and I have applied that to everything I do even when it is not the most desirable activity to me. I have been coached by some of the best and some who are questionable, but the game and my team mates made all the rough times of losing games better. This is what has got me through the rough years of school ball with a coach who most definitely played favorites not based upon skill or hard work as well as my desire to improve myself. I always strive to be the best on the field or in the classroom, and if i not, I figure out what I need to do to get there. Luckily for me I have been blessed with an a team with astounding players and a class with highly gifted individuals that push me to my next level.
