Sophie Lopez '24 Recruiting Profile

Good afternoon to everyone,

My name is Sophie Aluna Lopez. My journey of playing soccer began when my brother and I were watching Colombia Vs. Brazil's game during the FIFA World  Cup. That game inspired him to play soccer, and his passion inspired me to start playing with him. Since then he's still been my inspiration.

I consider my most vital skills on the field to be my ball-handling and fearless approach to all aspects of the game.   I am a strong communicator inside and outside the pitch and take pride in encouraging my teammates to be the best they can be.  I am a firm believer in developing coaching-player solid relations to accomplish team goals.

I study hard and maintain a high GPA in the classroom, and I am involved in several clubs.  Art Club, ASL, Diversity Alliance, Musical, and Step Up.

I want to attend a college where I can be challenged in the classroom and on the field.  A school that can open new horizons for me and at the same time help me accomplish my goals and dreams.
