Eryn Wilkey '21 Recruiting Profile

My few seasons playing travel have truly been the highlight of my career. These seasons  not only taught me to celebrate the wins, but also to celebrate the losses and the hard work that I put in. The teams taught me to get back up no matter how injured you are, no matter how tired you are, and no matter how down we are. These seasons taught me to never give up and to always give it my all, for my coach, for my team, and most importantly for myself. This sport has truly shown me how dedicated and resilient I am as a person. This is also reflected in my academics, I want my competitive nature to be shown both on the field and in the classroom. Since I began playing my 6th grade year with some friends, I have overcome many medical issues, that brought me into dark times, but no matter what I kept playing through it all. Soccer has taught me to deal with bumps in the road as they come and keep my troubles off the field and I am truly passionate about this sport for it.
