Hi my name is Kaelyn and I was born in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. I started to play soccer at the age of 4 and as I’m growing, my love for soccer is to. I love the competitiveness and teamwork the sport has and most of all I love the feeling I get before every game. When playing, I learned that it’s ok to fail and not everything you do in a game is going to succeed, but it matters on how you overcome those mistakes. As a forward, I experienced many mistakes and there all the basic stuff, like using opposite foot, dribbling with my head down not communicating, calling for ball. They turned to bad habits growing up, but I’m still working on them at practice and at games
When I am not playing, I try to still stay connected to the game, by practicing and watching pro soccer or watch my own games. By watching my own games, it helps me to become a better soccer player, it allows me to see what I can improve on and what I should keep consistent. As much as I love soccer, I understand that I still have to stay focused in school. I value my grades very much; I enjoy seeing myself do good in school.
