Haley Shiota '27 Recruiting Profile

Aloha! My name is Haley Shiota and I currently play for the Hawaii Soccer Academy in Honolulu, Hawaii as a mid-fielder. I am in the graduating class of 2027 at Kamehameha Schools, Kapalama. This past high school season I played on the JV team, and I also intend to go out for track. In addition to soccer, I play 3 instruments, alto saxophone and oboe for band as well as piano. Academically, I currently have a 3.87 GPA and a cumulative 3.79 GPA. While attending Kamehameha School I will be pursuing my Associates of Arts from Hawaii Pacific University through Kamehameha School's Dual Credit Program and plan on graduating with Honors. My faith is very important to me, so I am also very involved at Hawaii Kai Church where I participate in Crossroads Youth Group, Trek and Journey Program (Awana Program), and serve as a leader in training. I enjoy playing soccer because of the teamwork that it requires and the challenges that present themselves and want to continue pursuing soccer in college. I would describe myself as a well-disciplined, responsible, hardworking and coachable player. As a player and as a person, I strive to excel in everything that I do.
