I've played soccer since I was about 5 years old and I loved it until my freshman year (2015-2016). I lost the love for the sport after transitioning from middle school to high school, so I took a year off. I really regretted it. Coming back my sophomore year was hard because I needed to get back into that rhythm and I needed to face all the people who didn't expect me at tryouts that year (2016-2017). But when I got there I'm glad I was there, I learned to push what everyone says aside and just focus on myself and the bigger goal I had... playing college ball. I think I would be a great player to have on your team because I want to push myself to become better. Before my sophomore year I never wanted to push myself to do better, but when I stepped on that field and realized how natural everything came to me, I just knew I needed to push myself extra hard because I realized all this too late.
