Alexis Schmidt '19 Recruiting Profile

    Aloha! My name is Alexis Schmidt and I am currently a senior at Sacred Hearts Academy. I hold a 3.5 cumulative GPA while also maintaining my athletics and extracurricular activities.  I have been a starting goalkeeper for the Sacred Hearts Academy Varsity soccer team since my freshman year. I have helped guide my team to back to back state tournament appearances while also receiving numerous academic and athletic awards. I have also played club soccer for Hawaii Rush Soccer Club and Leahi Soccer Club. 

    In addition to being a goalkeeper, I am also a utility player. I have been called upon to play forward, outside midfielder, and outside back. Being a utility player has taught me how to be a fast learner. I am able to adjust to playing in any position.  I am also a good listener. Whenever a coach is talking to me, I am always engaged and listening to what he or she has to say and applying it on the field. 

    Overall I am compassionate, friendly, caring, supportive, and determined. As a team captain, I am always challenging myself and others.
