Tae Detwiler '26 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I started playing competitive soccer, I have aspired to continue playing to the next level. I was fortunate enough to be a captain of my club team for two years and I hope to continue to be a leader and role model for this team. As a soccer player, I feel that I am versatile. I am confident in most positions. Coming from a small club on a small island, it is a goal of mine to be an inspiration and a role model to the younger athletes. I am very fortunate to be surrounded by a generous, tight-knit community that has my best interests in mind and pushes me to be the best I can be. The further my soccer career goes, the more I realize how important my community is to me and the importance of giving back. I am currently a youth referee and in the process of becoming a coaching intern for the league and club which has brought me to where I am today. I attend a college prep school which has posed me with many rigorous academic challenges all of which have helped me to become the driven person I am.
