Nanea Wong Yuen '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nanea Wong Yuen, and I am part of the Class of 2022 at Kamehameha Schools Keaau.   As far as being a student athlete, I am greatly involved in community service, and student government.  Partaking as a food prep for the Hilo Corps Salvation Army and Hawaii Food Basket.  Additionally, I am the Vice President for my class. 

     I typically play as a left outside back on travel opportunities and in both high school and club a midfielder.  A strength I have been noticed for is my comfort level on the ball.  I can affect the game by my touch while attacking as a defender.  My biggest aspect on the field is my technical ability to make penetrative dribbles/passes that threat the opponent.  Aside from club and high school, I have dedicated myself to extra training right from my backyard.  I believe making the Hawaii State ODP Team, West Region ODP Team, and All Conference team as a freshman and sophomore was by the extra work, I put into myself.
