Mikaela Marie Javar '24 Recruiting Profile

Aloha, My name is Mikaela Marie Javar or "MM' for short. I am a Junior at Pearl City High school located in Oahu. My goal after highschool is to continue to play and compete at the collegiate level. As well as, pursue a career in nursing or medicine. I’ve been playing soccer since I was 7 years old and grew up with all my siblings playing a sport. I grew up having a competitive and diligent mindset. At the start of my soccer career, I played all positions on the field but only one caught my eye, Goalkeeper. The ability to take the leadership and manage your team from the back of the field. Also, being the last defender and saving the winning goal for my team. I’m a coachable player that will incorporate comments and corrections from the coach right away. With my position as Goalkeeper, I communicate with my team in a positive and confident manner. Having my grades up is my main priority and always challenging myself in hard classes. I keep myself grounded and disciplined when it comes to academics.
