I've been playing soccer since I was 5 years old, and continue to love the sport. I live and have grown up in a small town in Eastern Idaho where opportunities to play high level soccer have been very limited, but I've worked very hard and looked for every opportunity for me to play at the highest level soccer available. Currently the highest level has been with the Idaho ODP 2002 State Team for the past 4 years. The past 2 years I have earned an invitation to the ODP West Regional Camp - last year ( 2018) at Colorado State University ( Fort Collins, CO), and this year ( July 2-8, 2019) at Linfield College (McMinnville, Oregon).
The position that I play most often in high school and club teams is Center Midfielder, but my recent ODP coaches tell me that I excel at at the Center Defender position. I can, and I am willing, to play any position where a team needs me most.
I love soccer and have dedicated most every spare moment to playing soccer. I currently travel more than 2 hours each way to practice with my new club team - so I can play at the highest level in my area. When I cannot make it to my club practices, I play with the local high school boys team. I also make time to participate in my High School Track Team and I enjoy yoga, Pilates, and recently began Jiu-Jitsu training.
I work very hard at my schooling, and try to maintain a high GPA. I am dedicated to my education, and challenge myself with taking hard courses (AP and honors classes), and think I could contribute greatly to helping a college team maintain great GPA stats. I would like to play soccer at a college where this is a priority.
