Personal Statement

I have played soccer since I was very young and have enjoyed every moment on the field. I am very coachable and determined in everything that I do. I value academics along with my athletics and put my all into every thing I do. My goal is to put my skills to use in college so I can build a successful healthy life for myself in the future.

Are you in honor classes?

Yes. I have been enrolled in advanced math and English all four years of high school. My junior year math class was dual credit pre calculus through CWI and my junior English class was dual credit through the UofI

Are you in AP/IB classes?

Yes. I have been enrolled in advanced greenhouse, and advanced placement English my sophomore and freshman years. In my senior year I am enrolled in AP government and economics.

Awards and Activities

AwardsI am a member of NHS along with this, I received an All Star scholarship for the 3A category. This scholarship recognizes those students who are involved in athletics and other activities throughout the school.
ActivitiesI did band the first three years of my high school career. With this activity I became a two time state champion for solo and ensemble. My musical skills are specialized in percussion. Along with band I am also involved in musical theater and student council. Musical theater has helped me develop confidence in myself and my skills. I started student council my sophomore year as the class secretary, I then later became the junior class president, and I am currently Student body Vice President. Student council has shown me how to lead by example and push others to be their best.
