Ever since I can remember soccer has been part of my life. My older sister and brother played, and my mom coached and refereed games. Soccer was such a big factor in my life, I decided that I wanted to play too. For many years my family was well known as the “Soccer Family.”
As my mom taught me, I learned to play all positions. My favorite ended up being defender although because of my weight and height it became more difficult to play as I got older. I played center back/sweeper from 2015-2018 for the 2003 Ballistic team and forward/wing during 2019 and 2020 season. I played forward and outside wing for my Jr and Sr High School (2016-2020). In 2018, I experimented with playing forward and wing for my spring club team, but the coach preferred to play me as center back because of my speed. In 2020, Idaho Falls soccer season was pushed back into the summer due to COVID-19. However we managed to have a season where I played forward, wing and outside back. Outside back was a new challenge, but being a former center back helped my understanding of what to do. Most recently, I have been playing attacking midfielder and learning more ball movement.
I am often considered a clutch player because I bring foot skills and speed to the soccer field and can perform under pressure. I am able to play the majority of the positions with equal energy and knowledge. I bring diversity and a willingness to learn and improve to any soccer field. I always give 100% when I am training and playing. I am also a dedicated student and take dual credit and advanced placement classes. I’m excited to learn more both on and off the field and improve myself in a collegiate arena.
