Personal Statement

I believe talent doesn't matter without effort and working hard at practice leads to individual and team improvement. This is one reason why I was awarded "Most Competitive" on my high school soccer team as a freshman, where I started in the center midfield. I've been described by my coaches as coachable, technical, versatile, creative, and a great passer. I consider myself different from others because I am optimistic and constantly analyze the space around me to take advantage of my surroundings and my opponent's vulnerabilities.

I am looking for a college program that will be a good match for me academically, socially, and athletically as I strive for excellence in all aspects of my life. I will benefit any program interested in me because of my growth mindset attitude and high soccer IQ. As a multi-sport athlete, mock trial participant, and academic leader, I know that I have what it takes to lead and contribute to success on and off the soccer pitch.
