Personal Statement
"My name is Daniela Quintero-Reyes and I will study, work and push myself to become the best possible soccer player so that one day I'll try out - and be selected- for the the Women's Professional League. In order to do this, it's important to listen to the Coach(es), learn quickly, and strive to do what is asked of me, both on and off the field. There are eleven (11) players on the pitch and I am only one (1) of them. It's a team sport. In order to be the forward striker, I have to lead the team. By working harder and longer with the team, I will show my leadership through action and encouragement. If I'm asked to play another position, then it's about moving the ball efficiently; complete my passes, know where my teammates are and execute the game as flawlessly as possible. I do not need to score on my own - my team needs to score! By doing these things, I will prove to myself that I can reach deep within and play the game to the best of my abilities. And I believe in doing this, I'll be the best teammate possible, both on and off the field."
