Mikayla Holway '20 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coaches!

 I have played soccer on a variety of club teams since I was 6 years old. I have never even thought of quitting and have always hoped to play at a college level. I continued on and played on my middle school team.  As a freshman in High School, I made our varsity team. I was well aware of how hard I needed to work and that I might not play many games, but was there to learn from the older girls. My Coach challenged me everyday. She called me out on every mistake. I pushed myself and grew as a player. We had a great season and I was on the field for multiple games, and even scored some goals! I have continued to play on my High School Varsity team for the last 2 years. I have played several positions including center and attacking mid, outside mid, and forward. This past year I was a captain and was nominated to represent our soccer team at the Lake County Leadership Conference. 

If you were to take a chance on me and might have a spot for me on your team, I will never stop trying. I will use everything you teach, to grow as a player. I am open to any opportunity and understand fully, how hard I will need to work. I might not be as skilled or as fast as some other players, but I promise you that I will work and try harder, for a game that has shaped me so much and that I love!
