Jazzlyne Orozco '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches, I would like to start of by introducing my self I’m Jazzlyne Elena Orozco. I’m from Berwyn Il.  I’m 17yrs old and live by this quote “Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard” on and  off the field I’m a hard working individual. I would be first generation in family to attend college. I have love for the game of futbol  ⚽️ soccer as it is also known. I have been playing since the age of 5 and I’m 17 yrs old. I currently play soccer at very competitive level and I love it. At this moment I play with for Chicago Fire Junior South Premier Team U17. I play various positions but at this time  I’m a Forward. I attend a great High School De La Salle Institute on south side of Chicago. I will graduate in 2022. Coming in as freshman to the Meteors I made the varsity team  which was a  great year at our school. Our record was 13-6 as we went on to win the PepsiCo Championship in our bracket for 2019 season. I also play forward and lead my team with 25 goals 7 assist.  I was nominated all conference which was a great year. 2020 was cancelled do to COVID. My 2021 season I was very excited to get back on field as we took off with 14-1 -1 record and won GCAC and where named champions in our conference. Once again I lead my team scoring 23 goals and 5 assist. I’m also ranked 1st  GCAC conference  for 2021 in goals, while ranked 38 in state of Illinois by Max Preps. Academically I’m holding 4.5 GPA with honors classes. I take being in classes very serious conducting my self like lady and professional where ever I go I will be a key assets to any college where ever I go, I believe I would be hard working for my school, my team, my family, but for first my self as I’m great leader and role model to younger siblings who are looking up to me to start a new trend in my family. I’m so excited to start a new chapter in my life at a college level. Thanks  for your time and opportunity. I will blessed where ever I go.
