Club soccer has been my passion for eight years, and I plan to take that love of the game with me to a college team. On the soccer field itself, I am very good at seeing openings in the field where I can 'check to' to gain the ball or pass the ball through. Dribbling past other players causes me little challenge, and I remain very cool under pressure. When it comes to taking shots, my left foot is able to take up the challenge. I am always willing to play any position on the field from defense to offense. I am determined to do my best, make the right decisions with the ball, and win the game for my team. Both on and off the field, my team mates look to me as their leader and guide. As a result of my good skills and great work ethic, I have been able to play up with the U- 17 and U-18 teams of my club and help them win college showcases and state cup determiner games. With my skills and determination, I am one of a kind, and it is very hard for me to find a challenge in soccer at my age level, even though I play in the highest division in the state of Illinois. I succeed in every way that I can on the field and also in school and life. I am very devoted and determined to earn good grades (nothing less than an A will do), and as a result have been at the top of my peers and friends in nearly all of my classes. Outside of school, I love to be a part of community projects that help other people and the areas that surround me everyday. Whether I am with friends, family, classmates, or team mates, they describe me as devoted, determined, and compassionate, not only in doing my best in school and soccer, and helping the people around me, but also in succeeding in life.
