Melissa Parra '20 Recruiting Profile

    An AVID student attending TAFT High School, currently taking all honors, as well as two AP classes, being AP Language and composition, AP HL French 1,  and Duel Credit Pre Calculus and taking Journalism working for the school newspaper/yearbook. I'm the vice president of my schools Animation club, and in the process of making a Card Club myself. Currently enrolled in the National Honor Society. Been playing soccer since 7, and recently joined my school's soccer team in the spring of 2017,  played starter on the same team the spring of 2018, and in hopes to make the varsity team, this upcoming spring, 2019. I played soccer this summer with my school, competing twice. 

Many would say I'm quiet and shy, yet very outgoing and a hard worker.  I have strong leadership skill, and am up to the task to improve and fit the needs of my team. 

I'm looking for a College/ University in which I can take both Secondary Education in U.S. History and English, as well as General Business Management of small food businesses or construction.
