Hello coaches! My name is Anastasia and I attend Harvest Christian Academy in Elgin, IL. My short career in soccer immediately sets me apart from all other players. I say short because my first time playing since early in elementary school was freshman year! The second I stepped onto the field for my first practice, soccer became my passion and I knew I needed to pursue it wholeheartedly. My dream is playing for college, and I never let my late start prevent me from playing at the same level as other girls my age. Ever since that moment, I have been playing at Varsity level with other extremely talented, well-rounded girls as a fourteen year old. As I worked harder and harder and quickly improved, I was honored to receive the Varsity Girls Most Improved award as a sophomore, and became a leader on the team. I was also apart of leading our team to our first regional win! Since freshman year, I have been leading in middle school camps and youth groups and intermittently volunteering at youth soccer camps. From being a leader, my team, and my faith, I learned that a positive, encouraging spirit leads the team far, as well as the importance of a player's individual responsibility. As far as academics, I have maintained the status to quality for National Honors Society all of high school while participating in honors and AP classes. No matter the team or circumstances, I can be counted on to be responsible, encouraging, play well, be smart, and give 100% in everything I do. I would be honored to play for your team--thank you for your time!
