Winning the 2018 Midwest Regional Championships in Indiana was definitely the highlight of my soccer career. However, advancing to the 2018 National Championships in Texas were the most important games in my career because I feel like I grew the most as an athlete when my team failed to advance to the finals. I feel my team wasn't playing together as best we could and focusing more on our individual status. This was a great turning point in my life as it re-focused my efforts on being an improved midfielder and teammate in order to be capable of playing at the college level.
I'm very fortunate in the opportunity to play in the my current soccer program where we consecutively won State 3x while being with the club for only 3 years. I've learned the value in dedication, sacrifice, and most importantly team work. Currently, I feel my team and I would run through a wall for each other on and off the field. Because of this, my team has qualified again for the National Championships in 2020; however, due to COVID -19 this will not be happening. This set back will not stop my team & I. I believe that everything happens for a reason and this gives me more time to devolve my skills.
Most importantly, at the end of my high school career, I'm looking for a program at a college that is a good fit for me both athletically and academically. I believe I not only have the skills, but the mentality, dedication, work ethic, and personality to make an impact on your program.
