Isabela Alvarado '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches!

My name is Isabela Alvarado and I go to Maine South High School in Park Ridge, Illinois. I started playing travel soccer 4 years ago when I was in 6th grade. My dad coached me in a house league before but I slowly grew out of it and started playing competitively. Soccer has taught me how to be a team leader, work together in a group, be humble, and push myself. 

My academic goals for high school are to graduate with honors and keep my GPA within 3.5-4.0. I also want to grow as a person, meet new people, try new things, and stay focused. In college, I want to focus on my academics just as much as soccer. I also don't want to water my soccer experience down either. I love the competitiveness of the sport and the rush every time I take the field. I'm hoping to continue my education and become a middle or high school teacher.

What makes me stand out are the standards that I set for myself. I know what it looks like when I play a good game and what I can improve on for the good of the team and for myself.
