Although I have always been a good soccer player since I started playing as a 4 year old, I have played with 3 different clubs over the last 5 years after moving on from my local travel team. In each instance, I had to assimilate into an existing team dynamic and had to prove myself worthy. I have great attitude, drive and leadership qualities that my coaches and teammates appreciate soon after having me on their team.
Some things in soccer and in life have come easy for me, however, certain things have taken patience and persistence and those have always been the most rewarding accomplishments. For example, I could only juggle a soccer ball 10 times about 4 years ago but I worked hard at it for about 2 years and now can juggle over 800 times. This work ethic is something that I have with academics, student council, and in my charitable activities with Key Club and being a foster sister to kids in need that have stayed in my house over the years.
What you will get in a player like me is someone that will demonstrate focused effort pays off ultimately and a positive force when adversity comes as it always does. I am a skilled player but more importantly I am a good teammate that elevates and encourages others around me.
